  1. Check that all your card details are correct, including your name as shown on the card, card number, card expiry date, security code, and billing postcode if your bank requires it.

  2. Some banks have extra security features when making payments that require the payments to be authorised and you may need to complete these before the payment will go through, if the authorisation fails you will need to speak to your card issuer.

  3. If all these details are correct, check that you have sufficient funds and look out for any other error messages.
