What is a ride?

A ride is a one-way journey. We commonly refer to this when talking about Travel Passes. When you purchase or top up a Travel Pass, the amount of rides that the pass is worth equates to the amount of journeys you can take with that Pass. 


How to book a ride?

If you have purchased a Travel Pass that has different service times each day, you need to opt in to your ride time after purchasing your Travel Pass.

Follow these steps to opt in to or change ride times.

You can follow these steps on the 📱 App or 💻 Website

  1. Go to My Rides

  2. Find the Pass that you want to opt in to or edit ride times for

  3. Click on the date of your inbound journey

4. Choose the Outbound service time you would like

📆 If you are travelling in for a night shift, you will need to book a Return for the next day

How do I cancel a ride?

If you have purchased a Travel Pass, you may be able to cancel rides within it, either returning credits to your pass or giving you a voucher through email for another ride.

Follow these steps to cancel / opt out of a ride

  1. Go to My Rides

  2. Find the Pass that you want to cancel rides from and click into it

  3. Click on the date that you want to cancel

  4. Depending on the pass you have, you'll either be asked to confirm opting out or you'll see a Cancel button that will remove you from the service(s)

  5. Click Confirm

📌 Please note that you can cancel your ride up until 5 minutes before the coach departs your stop.


When is the latest I can make a booking?

The latest you can purchase a Day Pass or opt-in to a ride within a Travel Pass is 5 min before the coach departs each stop.
