Understanding the Validity and Publication of Travel Passes
Regarding travel passes, the validity and scheduling can vary depending on the type of pass you have. With a school/college pass, the way services are published and reviewed is different. Here’s a breakdown to help you understand when your travel services are published and how to stay informed.
School/College Term and Annual Passes
For students who have an annual or termly pass for their school or college, the services are generally scheduled in line with the academic calendar and will automatically be scheduled a seat. Passes are published to cover each term, and once the current term ends, the service is reviewed and then republished for the next term.
This means that your travel service will be available for the full duration of your current term, but after the term ends, you’ll need to check for any changes to your travel arrangements for the next term. We recommend watching for any updates to ensure you're aware of new service schedules as they are made available.
Ride Bundles
For students who have a Ride Bundle (10/20/50 trips) for their school or college, the services are generally scheduled according to the academic calendar. To avoid disappointment, students must book using the pass in advance.
This means that your travel service will be available for the full duration of your current term, but after the term ends, you’ll need to check for any changes to your travel arrangements for the next term and maybe purchase more trips.
Single/Return Tickets
For Students who want to pay daily, the services are generally scheduled according to the academic calendar and published termly; they must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
Please be aware that not all Ticket Types mentioned above may be available, depending on your School or College.
