Joining a waiting list when a route is sold out

Are you trying to get a Travel pass or a Ride bundle for a route that's already sold out? Here's what to do next.

Updated over a month ago

Why is this happening?

When you try to purchase a Travel pass or a Ride bundle on a busy route, you may sometime experience that this route is already sold out.

This is because your employer or school decides the size of the vehicle they want to use on each route, and when all the seats have been purchased by other users you will be alerted that this route is now sold out.

What to do next

It's very important that you join the waiting list so that we get notified of the additional demand for the route. We will then promptly notify your school or employer about the additional demand, and they can decide to increase the vehicle size or add another vehicle to operate this route.

How to join a waiting list

You can currently only join a waiting list on our Web-app

  • Access the Program page. Read this article if you need help.

  • Select your desired pickup & dropoff.

  • Select a Travel pass or Ride bundle.

  • When you try to proceed to checkout, the "Route sold out" warning will appear.

  • Fill in the form and submit.

  • When more seats become available on this route, users in the waiting list get notified by email and by SMS, in the order they have joined the waiting. For example, if you were the first to join the waiting list, you will be the first notified.

  • ⏱️ You will be given a 5 hours window to complete your purchase before the next user on the waiting list gets notified.
