About Boarding pass, ID & Badges

Updated over 2 months ago

1. Show a boarding pass

When you board the bus the driver will likely ask to see the QR Code on your boarding pass . This is the pass which is on the homepage of your app.

Open the pass to show the QR code which the driver will then scan with their driver app.

✂️ The QR Code is the same across all your bookings, so if you wanted to print and laminate it for your child, it will work every day they board the vehicle, as long as they have a valid booking on this trip.

⚠️ Please note, there are some trips for which a pass isn't required. We call these programs 'Just board' . If in doubt head to the Program page for your work or school and it will explain if you need a pass. Read this article to find your Program page.

2. Do I need to show an ID or Badge to the driver?

Check your Program page to see if your employer / school requires showing an ID / Badge to the driver upon boarding. Read this article if you need help finding your Program page.

Here's a reminder of what to expect on the day:

  • We recommend to arrive at the pickup at least 5 minutes before your pickup time.

  • 45 minutes before your coach departs its first pickup location (or at the time of booking if you book after this), we will send you notification (or SMS if push notification are not activated) with vehicle details and tracking.

  • You can open the vehicle tracking screen in the Rider App on the Homescreen (or My rides on the Web-app). Just locate the "Track" button.

  • Show the QR Code on your boarding pass to the driver upon boarding (unless you're using a "Just board" program that doesn't require a boarding pass, in which case the Driver will simply count you on the vehicle)
