One way travel passes - Schools

This article explains how One way travel passes work

Updated this week

One-way passes are useful when you or your child only need to use a bus service in one direction (for example, the afternoon trip back home). They provide a cheaper transport alternative. Please note - These may not be offered by every program.

.

1. Buy a "One-way travel pass"

If you require information on how to do this, please read this article.

The default direction of travel is determined by your stop selection on the page where you choose the Travel pass. For example, in the image below, Acorn Road is set as the first stop, so the One Way Pass will default to "Acorn Road > Greenoak School." This must be changed manually if you only want to travel the return journey for every day you wish to travel.

2. Manage your bookings

The one-way travel pass is usually set to book you automatically, but the school may sometimes decide that bookings must be made manually. You can manage your bookings by tapping on the Travel Pass on your App's home screen or by heading to "My rides" on the web app.

3. If you need to change the direction of travel

Sometimes you may wish to travel on the morning trip instead of the afternoon trip (or vice-versa). To do this you can follow the simple steps below:

  1. Tap on the date you wish to change

  2. Switch to inbound and save your changes

    Done!
