How can I book my child onto multiple routes?
If your child/son/daughter lives between two houses during the week, here's how to set up their pass and get them booked.
When a child needs to travel to and from school from two separate houses, we recommend using the following pass options.
Each travel pass/ride bundle bought on Zeelo does not allow more than 1 pickup assigned to the pass. This means you usually need to get 2 separate passes, one for each combination of stops. For example, let's say your child lives at two houses, one near Stop A, the other near Stop B:
- Get a first pass selecting Stop A <> School and complete payment
- Get a second pass selecting Stop B <> School and complete payment
Which pass type is best for me in this case?
The type of passes on sale is decided by your school/college, so this answer depends on the passes available for you.
1. Travel Pass: This pass is the most common type of pass for Schools and guarantees children a seat every day of the week. But when your child doesn't travel every day of the week using a Travel Pass, you're missing out.
2. Ride bundle: This pass gives you more flexibility with a credit-based system; you only use ride credits on the days your child actually uses the bus. But they may not be sold by your school, or they may be released only a few per route, and they may be sold out. Booking is not guaranteed and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Leftover cannot be refunded or reused for the next school year.
3. Day pass (Single/Return tickets): You buy a ticket every day when your child goes, so there's no commitment. Booking is not guaranteed and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
