This guide helps you use a promo code when buying a pass, including what to do if you receive your bursary after you’ve already purchased.
How do I use a promo code when purchasing a pass?
- Go to your program page.
- You can use the link shared by your employer or search for your employer’s name in the search bar at the top of the page.
- Choose the pass you want to buy single/return, travel pass or credit bundle
- Select your pick-up and drop-off stops and choose "Get this pass".
- On the payment page, enter your promo code and select Apply.
- You may be asked to verify the purchase with a 4-digit SMS PIN.
- Your total will update to reflect your discount.
- Complete your payment using any of the payment methods that we offer
How do I use a promo code after your bursary is approved (School-only)
If your bursary is awarded after you’ve already bought your pass, you can still use a promo code to receive your required discount. Here’s how the process works:
- Schools and colleges may take time to confirm bursary awards at the start of the year. We ask that you purchase your pass so you can travel as normal while waiting for your bursary decision.
- Once your bursary is approved and you’ve provided proof, Zeelo will issue you a promo code for the value of your bursary.
- We will then:
- Cancel your current pass
- Cancel your direct debit (if you set one up)
- Refund any payments already made
- After cancellation is complete, you’ll be able to rebook your pass and enter the promo code provided by Zeelo at checkout.
