What's the best payment option for me?
Read this article for a clear overview of each payment method we offer and how to set up Direct Debit if it’s available for you.
Credit card
You can pay in full using your card in the Zeelo app or online. This is our most common payment method and allows for fast, secure checkout.
Apple Pay (iOS)
If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, you can pay securely in full using Apple Pay in the Zeelo app, no need to enter your card details manually.
Direct Debit (UK only – School Passes)
You can spread the cost of your School Travel Pass (Annual or Term) over monthly payments at no extra charge. Three monthly options are available depending on how long is left on the pass (3, 6, or 9 months):
- The pass must be active for more than 50 days.
- Only consecutive monthly plans are available.
- The monthly payment options dynamically update so that the pass is fully paid by the end of the pass's validity period. For example, if you sign up 6 months before the end of the pass period, you will only be able to sign up for 3 or 6 months, but not 9 months.
- When you choose Direct Debit, you’ll see a full payment schedule showing how much you’ll pay each month and on what date.
How to set up Direct Debit
- Choose your pass
- Select your preferred pass and stop.
- If Direct Debit is available, you’ll see “Pay monthly available” when you select the pass.
- Review your payment options
- If your pass qualifies, you’ll see monthly options such as 3, 6, or 9 payments.
- Select See payment schedule to view your planned payment dates.
- Enter your details
- Add your bank details and address, then confirm your authorisation for the Direct Debit.
- Review and confirm
- Select "Review and confirm" to finalise your setup.
- Payments will appear on your bank statement as “Stripe/Zeelo Ltd.”
- We’ll also email you updates about each payment and any outstanding balance.
