How can I turn off email and/or rider app notifications?
We're sorry but it's not currently possible to manage bookings and trip updates notifications on the Zeelo platform yet.
We're understand this is frustrating, but it isn't currently possible to individually turn off email notification, rider app notifications and / or SMS on the Zeelo platform yet.
Here's a recap of the main recurring notification Zeelo will send you, so you can decide what to do.
Email notifications:
- Pass or ticket purchase confirmation (including Auto Top-up & Direct Debit updates)
- Bookings confirmation
- Upcoming booking reminder
- Trip has started
- If you are a follower (e.g you follow a child's travel updates):
- Boarding confirmation
- Non-boarding alerts
- Confirmation of arrival at destination
Updates about your trip sent by our Operations team will be sent your email and phone (app notification or SMS)
App notifications:
These will be sent by SMS if rider app notifications are disabled on your phone, or if you don't use the rider app.
- Updates sent by our Live Operations team including the following information:
- Delays on your trip
- Updates if tracking isn't working
- Vehicle issues (breakdown, accidents, ...)
- Replacement vehicle updates
