I need to book my child on 2 different routes / stop since they live at 2 separate houses. How do I do this?
If your child / son / daughter lives between two houses during the week, here's how to setup their pass and get them booked.
When a child need to travel to and from the school from two separate houses we recommend to use the following pass options.
Each travel pass / ride bundle bought on Zeelo does not allow to have more than 1 pickup assigned to the pass. This means you usually need to get 2 separate passes, one for each combination of stops. For example, let's say your child lives at two houses, one near Stop A, the other near Stop B:
- Get a first pass selecting Stop A <> School and complete payment
- Get a second pass selecting Stop B <> School and complete payment
Which pass type is best for me in this case?
The type of passes on sale are decided by your school / college, so this answer depends on the pass available for you.
1. Travel Pass: This pass is the most common type of passes for Schools and guarantee children a seat every day of the week. But when your child doesn't travel every day of the week using a Travel Pass, you're missing out.
2. Ride bundle: This pass gives you more flexibility with a credit based system, you only use ride credits on the days your child actually uses the bus. But they may not be sold by your school OR they are only a few of this type released per route and they may be sold out. Booking is not guaranteed, and allocated on a first first serve basis. Leftover cannot be refunded or reused for the next school year.
3. Day pass (Single/Return tickets): You buy a ticket every day when your child so there's no commitment. Booking is not guaranteed, and allocated on a first first serve basis.
